Chunying Chen, Ph.D, Professor
Prof. Chen received her Bachelor's degree in chemistry (1991) and obtained her PhD degree in Biomedical engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology of China in 1996. She worked as a postdoctoral research fellow at the Key Laboratory of Nuclear Analytical Techniques, Institute of High Energy Physics of Chinese Academy of Sciences (1996-1998) and at the Medical Nobel Institute for Biochemistry of Karolinska Institute, Sweden (2001-2002). She has been the Professor and a Group Leader of the National Center for Nanoscience and Technology of China since 2006. She was elected as a General Secretary of the Asian Society of Toxicology in 2018. She is also a fellow of the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering, starting in 2021, and the Royal Society of Chemistry in 2016.

Yaling Wang, Ph.D, Professor
Received her B.S degree in chemistry at Sichuan University of China (2003-2007), and her Ph.D. degree in Bioinorganic Chemistry at Institute of High Energy Physics (2007-2012), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). She worked as a assistant professor and associate professor at the CAS Key Laboratory for Biomedical Effects of Nanomaterials and Nanosafety, Institute of High Energy Physics of CAS (2012-2018). Since 2018, she joined Prof. Chen’s research group at the National Center for Nanoscience and Technology, CAS.
Research Directions:
(1) Developing nanomedicine for in vivo imaging and cancer therapy;
(2) Single cell analysis via nano-bio and synchrotron radiation technologies.
Ru Bai, Master, Senior Engineer
Received her master degree in Tianjin University of Technology in 2007. Then she is an assistant/senior engineer in NCNST. Her research mainly focuses on environmental and healthy impact of nanomaterials.
Xuejing Cui, Ph.D, Associate professor
Received her Bachelor's degree in Tianjin University of Sciences & Technology in 2011. Then obtained Ph.D from Research Center for Eco-Environmental Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2017. She now works as an Associate Professor in National Center for Nanoscience and Technology of China.
Research Directions:
(1) Toxicokinetics of nanomaterials;
(2) Biological effects and safety of nanomaterials and PM2.5.
Huige Zhou, Ph.D, Assistant professor
Received her Bachelor's degree in Henan Polytechnic University in 2013. Then shen obtained her Ph.D from National Center for Nanoscience and Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2018. She now works as an assistant professor in National Center for Nanoscience and Technology of China.
Research Directions:
(1) Design and fabrication of innovative nano-drug delivery systems;
(2) The surface modification and biomedical application of iron oxide nanoparticles.
