Overview

Since its establishment, the National Center for Nanoscience and Technology (NCNST) has been committed to advancing nanoscience and technology through extensive collaboration at both domestic and international levels.

Domestically, NCNST has established long-term and stable partnerships with leading institutions including the Institute of Physics, Institute of Chemistry, and Institute of High Energy Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, as well as with Peking University, Tsinghua University, and other premier universities.

Internationally, NCNST serves as the proud organizer of the International Conference on Nanoscience and Technology, China (ChinaNANO), one of the world's most influential conferences in the field of nanoscience and technology. This flagship event provides an open platform for global researchers and industry professionals to exchange ideas and foster collaboration. Through the ChinaNANO Directors' Forum, NCNST further strengthens strategic guidance and helps shape the future development of nanotechnology worldwide. NCNST has also developed substantial collaborations through joint projects, with research institutions across numerous countries including Germany, France, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Denmark, Finland, the United States, Canada, Australia, Russia, South Korea, and Japan.

NCNST actively contributes to nano-related standards development at international bodies such as ISO and IEC, helping to establish universal frameworks for nanotechnology development and application.

To further global talent development, NCNST actively participates in joint graduate training programs with countries such as Denmark via Sino-Danish College of the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, and regularly hosts overseas students supported by the TWAS fellowship and other scholarships.

Through these multifaceted efforts, NCNST continues to strengthen its influence both in China and worldwide, while contributing to the sustainable development of nanotechnology globally for the community with a shared future for mankind.
