Info.:

Dr. Chao Liu received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Nanchang University in 2013 and 2016, respectively. He obtained his Ph.D. from Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU), Germany, in 2022. He is currently working at the Helmholtz Institute Erlangen-Nürnberg for Renewable Energy (HI ERN), Germany. His research focuses on the fabrication, characterization, and mechanistic understanding of highly efficient and stable organic solar cells and organic/perovskite tandem devices. This includes utilizing high-throughput platforms to investigate the effects of interface engineering and active layer morphology on the stability of organic solar cells, as well as exploring the potential of organic/perovskite tandem devices. To date, he has published a total of 49 scientific papers, with 11 of them as first author or corresponding author in journals and conferences including Nature Communications, Advanced Materials, Energy & Environmental Science, Advanced Energy Materials, and Advanced Functional Materials.
