Education and Professional Experience:
Dr. Meng received his bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Science from Peking University and his Ph.D. in Bio-inorganic Chemistry from Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). After postdoctoral training at David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, he joined the faculty in the Department of Medicine as an Assistant Professor. From 2013 to 2021, Dr. Meng held faculty membership in the Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center (JCCC), California NanoSystems Institute (CNSI) and Center for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (CDMD). In 2020, Dr. Meng was promoted as an Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine at UCLA. In 2021, he became a Full Professor in the National Center for Nanoscience and Technology, CAS.
