Wenfu ZHENG obtained his Ph.D. in Biophysics from Peking University School of Basic Medical Sciences in 2008. After graduation, he joined the National Center for Nanoscience and Technology as a postdoctoral researcher. Upon completing his postdoctoral training in 2010, he was appointed as an Assistant Professor at NCNST. He was promoted to Associate Professor in 2013, Project Professor in 2017, and Full Professor in 2022.
Research Interests
1. Using organ-on-a-chip as a fundamental tool to investigate pathogenesis of major diseases and for drug evaluation/screening;
2. Developing nanodrugs and drug nanoformulation technologies;
3. Research and industrialization of nano-antibacterial materials.
