Education and Professional Experience:

Qingdao ZENG is a Professor at the National Center for Nanoscience and Technology, China. He received his PhD degree in inorganic chemistry from Nanjing University in 1997. After that, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher and an associate Professor at the Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Science. He has published more than 240 papers in international peer-reviewed journals including J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem., Int. Ed., Nano Lett., etc.

Utilizing Scanning Tunneling Microscopy (STM) to Investigate Molecular Science Phenomena at the Nanoscale:

1. Intermolecular interactions present in nanoscale systems

2. Influence of intermolecular interactions on nanostructure stability

3. Synergistic effects of coexisting multiple interaction forces

4. Responses of supramolecular nanostructures to optical, thermal, and electrical stimuli
