Chen Lan holds a Ph.D. in Natural Sciences from University College Cork, Ireland (2008) and completed postdoctoral training as a Marie Curie Fellow at the University of Cambridge (2011-2014), with an intermediate visiting scholarship at the Georgia Institute of Technology, USA (2011). Since 2014, she has served as Associate Professor and subsequently Professor at the National Center for Nanoscience and Technology.
